A healthy diet can be beneficial in many ways and especially so when looking to boost your mood and energy. Whilst there are no quick fixes, adding the right superfoods to your diet can make a big difference.

Wheatgrass Juice is often referred to as natures energiser as it is packed full of nutrients and vitamins. Maca root is a radish-like root that typically grows in Peru. It boosts energy and is known for its ability to increase mental clarity, improve energy levels and boost the immune system. Containing essential amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium, maca is a supplement that is growing in popularity.  It is an adaptogen meaning that it adapts to what the body needs and can help to keep the body in balance.

Goji berries sometimes called ‘wolfberries’ have long been used in traditional medicines. Most dark blue, red and orange berries, contain high levels of antioxidants, which may help protect the body against damage from free radicals. Goji berries uniquely contain Lycium barbarum polysaccharides, which are thought to provide a variety of impressive health benefits.

 In addition, goji berries provide 11 essential amino acids—more than other common berries .  They're also a source of carbohydrates for energy and amino acids to help meet the body's protein needs. It has also been recently demonstrated that Goji berry can alleviate low-level anxiousness in animals.
