Dreaming of Strawberries & Cream

Strawberry milkshake, anyone? This version is filled with healthy protein, naturally sweet strawberries, and detoxifying beetroots.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries or 2 sachets of our Elixir Vitality
  • 1 large scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract for extra taste
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 small beetroot, peeled or 1 sachet of LiveWheatgrass organic freshly juiced beetroot
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • This is what you do
  • Simply blend with ice. To make it sweeter, you can add a few dates (optional).

 

Chocolate Pick-Me-Up

This is a lovely smoothie to drink after a workout or run —carbs from the banana, protein from the chocolate protein powder, and healthy fats from organic peanut butter. All these ingredients make this the ideal recovery smoothie. Plus, you can add the shot of espresso to help keep those good post-workout vibes going until lunchtime – or, if you prefer, for an alternative energy booster try instead Matcha te.

Ingredients:

  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon organic peanut butter
  • 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
  • 1 shot espresso or instead 1/4 tea spoon of Matcha te
  • 2 dates
  • This is what you do
  • Simply blend with ice.

 

Green SOS Smoothie

Even though there are only five ingredients, this smoothie really packs a powerful punch of nutrition. Thanks to the Wheatgrass and ginger, your immunity will be through the roof.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large handful spinach
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 peach
  • 1 -2 cups of LiveWheatgrass Juice
  • 0.5 inch (1 cm) chunk of ginger
  • Preparation
  • Take the peal off the ginger and then simply blend all ingredients with ice.
